CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, North Dakota is seeking a Director of Perioperative Services to join their team!The Position
- The Director of Perioperative Services will oversee the day-to-day operations of a 15-bed OR unit within a Level IV Trauma Center.
- Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will manage approximately 25 FTEs.
- This leader will assess the department to identify opportunities for improvement and growth, while also focusing on fostering a collaborative environment and revitalizing a positive team culture.
- Additional responsibilities include establishing a system to monitor key performance metrics, overseeing capital projects, launching a patient experience concierge program, and supporting the department's transition to the EPIC system.
- The ideal candidate will be a strong, visible leader with exceptional communication skills, capable of stabilizing the department. They should excel at mentoring and educating staff, require minimal supervision from higher management, and demonstrate a strong commitment to process improvement initiatives.
- BSN is required; a Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
