Are you an experience surgery tech looking to grow your career? We are immediately hiring for a Surgery Technician at a leading medical office in Dothan, AL.

Pay will start at $14.00 per hour and will be working Monday - Friday between the hours of 6am and 5pm depending on the surgery schedule. Scrubs will be provided!

Duties:

• Prepare and transport patients for surgical procedures
• Provide assistance to surgeons and OR nurses by passing tools, dressing incisions and other functions as required
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and recovery
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Provide basic life support when necessary
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
• Sterilize equipment, operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is in place for scheduled procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years experience in patient care within a hospital, intensive care unit or surgery center is required
• Prior surgery tech experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift up to 15lbs and stand for long periods of time
