Handyman/Maintenance

Applecross is an established private country Club in the heart of Chester County located near Exton.

We are looking for a skilled Handyman to join our team. This position will perform work maintaining our building facilities.

Facilities include a Clubhouse, Fitness Center, Spa, Member's Lounge, Locker Rooms, Golf Shop and Indoor/Outdoor Swimming Pools

RESPONSIBILITIES

· HVAC preventative maintenance - filters & belts

· Painting

· Light plumbing/electric

· Carpentry repairs

· Seasonal system checks and change over proceeds

· Misc. routine repairs and maintenance.

· Light bulb and ballast replacement, including fixture replacement

· Flush valve repair & replacement

· Minor repairs of leaks, doors, drains, windows, etc.

· Soldering pipes to fix leaks, replace water heaters or faucets

· Water softener Maintenance

· Perform building and system checks

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

· Preferably 3 years of exp.

· On-Call evenings/weekends for extreme emergencies

· Mechanically inclined, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.

· Use of tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, saws, drills, and knowledge of electrical safety, troubleshoot electrical circuits wrenches, and electrical and electronic testing devices.

· Enthusiastic and self starter

· Able to be trained and quickly apply learned skills

· Must hold a valid Driver License without restrictions

· Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs and work stands unassisted

· Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces

· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.05 - $25.35 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
