Mellor and Associates is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in providing audit services to our diverse portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses. Responsibilities:

1. Audit Engagement Leadership: Lead and execute audit engagements for clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
2. Client Interactions: Professionally engage with clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, and video conferences to understand their needs, address concerns, and deliver exceptional service.
3. QuickBooks Expertise: Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop
4. Job Costing and Construction Accounting: Apply knowledge of job costing and construction accounting principles to support clients in the construction industry.
5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to complete assignments efficiently and effectively.
6. Problem-Solving: Independently solve complex problems while knowing when to seek assistance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
7. Client Support: Assist clients and fellow team members in solving problems and streamlining processes to enhance productivity.
8. Travel: Occasionally travel to client locations for engagements and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Current CPA licensure is preferred.
2. 2 years of audit experience in public accounting with a reputable firm.
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
4. Familiarity with job costing and construction accounting concepts.
5. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of client interactions.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
8. Proactive problem-solving mindset with a willingness to seek assistance when needed.
9. Dedication to helping clients and team members succeed.
10. Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and professional development.
