Department:

Reports To:
Maintenance Manager

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility failures
• Delegate/schedule department technicians to effectively keep facility running
• Maintain machine and facility preventative maintenance schedule
• Report and correct safety issues as directed
• Must be able to lift, push or pull 70 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must maintain forklift license
• Perform facility grounds maintenance as needed
• Update, rebuild, and relocate equipment
• Look for and suggest ways to improve equipment and processes
• Work in a safety conscious manner
• Maintain good housekeeping

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Successfully demonstrated skills of leadership in a maintenance setting
• Strong background in electrical troubleshooting and repair (machine and facility)
• PLC experience with ability to troubleshoot issues as well as make necessary programming changes
• Ability to communicate effectively (Phone, Email, etc…) to other maintenance techs as well as plant management and vendors
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic system
