We are seeking an outgoing and dependable person to join our team and assist in sourcing, screening, and hiring talented professionals within the insurance industry. As a talent acquisition specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying candidates who align with our company culture and possess the skills necessary to thrive in their roles.

Responsibilities

Utilize recruiting tools and platforms to source candidates for various positions within the insurance sector, including agents, producers, customer service representatives and administrative staff.

Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.

Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit for the organization.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and initiatives.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and refine job descriptions as necessary.

Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

Familiarity with recruiting software (e.g., ATS) and social media platforms for sourcing candidates.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Ability to work independently and remotely, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

Bachelors degree (preferred).
