Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Process customer payments using a cash register or POS system
- Clear and clean tables after customers have finished dining
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next customer
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system
- Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and upsell menu items
- Sales experience is a plus
