Payroll Specialist

East Earl, PA

  • Step into a newly formed role. Refine existing and develop new processes
  • Serve as a trusted resource for our team by processing new hire paperwork & 401K information and explaining our benefits
  • Review employee time cards, verify PTO, and process company-wide payroll
  • Process and submit certified payroll reports
  • Manage insurance and Workman's compensation audits
  • Generate payroll reports in ADP
  • Regularly collaborate with the Accounting Team

SEK Construction, LLC., specializes in structural steel erection and decking. Our most valuable asset is our people, and we are looking for a motivated, friendly, and analytical Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will explain company benefits, serve as a resource for new employee onboarding, manage insurance compliance, and review and process payroll.


Our Ideal Payroll Specialist

  • Experienced: 3 years of experience with payroll and payroll taxes, W2 and I-9 processing, and Insurance Compliance is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable: Adept in navigating MS Office Suite, ADP, or other payroll processing software
  • Detailed: Able to work with minimal mistakes and high accuracy; must be organized and ensure compliance with deadlines/due dates.
  • Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes, driven to do excellent work, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly: Can explain & educate co-workers on benefits and payroll information while remaining patient and professional.
  • Excellent Communicator: Should have strong written and verbal communication skills. At times you may need to present information to large groups of people.


What we offer our Payroll Specialist

  • $65-70k/year, depending on experience
