My name is Jeanhel Acuba and we are looking for a Network Security Engineer to work with one of our top financial client in East Hartford, CT.

Some of the must haves but are not limited to:

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on network security experience with implementing and maintaining security controls, patch management and the duties and responsibilities specified. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related technical field preferred.
• Must possess understanding of networking concepts and protocols, and be proficient in Microsoft operating systems.
• Must have experience with Windows 10, Microsoft servers and VMware and be an expert in Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Technical understanding of vulnerabilities and how attackers can exploit vulnerabilities to compromise systems.
• Experience with network vulnerability management software for patching, configuring and detecting network vulnerabilities required.

Experience with digital certificates and disk encryption. Knowledgeable in the following applications:

• Technical proficiency and knowledge in information assurance, network security, computer information systems, computer science, or management information systems.
• Hands-on experience with relevant compliance and vulnerability management technologies such as Nessus, Qualys and Rapid7 • Familiarity with information security policies, standards, industry best practices, and frameworks (NIST 800-53, FISMA).

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: CCNA and Information Security certifications (CompTIA and/or CISSP) preferred.
