. Duties: - Perform and
nterpret a variety of diagnostic imaging tests, including ultrasound and echocardiograms, using specialized equipment and technology. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement diagnostic imaging protocols. - Provide accurate and timely diagnostic information to medical professionals to aid in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. - Maintain aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and prevent the spread of infection. - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate diagnoses. - Assist in the preparation of patients for imaging tests, including explaining the procedure and obtaining necessary information. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging tests and results. - Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of diagnostic imaging quality. - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in sonography and diagnostic imaging. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in sonography or a related field. - Current certification in sonography. - Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center or a Cardiac Catheterization Lab. - Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge. - Familiarity with aseptic technique and lab procedures. - Knowledge of physiology and cardiac anatomy. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
