Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational team for each student.
As the health & PE teacher at Buxmont Academy, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical activity, health education, and overall well-being for students. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to support their growth. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to integrate health and fitness concepts across the curriculum, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include organizing and supervising physical activities, promoting healthy lifestyles, and serving as a positive role model for students.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education, and either PA teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification. We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers. We also welcome retired teachers who miss being in the classroom!
