The opportunity:

• This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who is looking to grow in their career. We are seeking a talented Digital Designer to work with our international businesses to improve their e-commerce customer experiences.
• Using their design skills to not only attract visitors but also effectively convert them into loyal customers. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of showing how they helped influence consumer buying decisions at key steps of the sales journey.
• You will be supported by the Global Head of Design & UX and the International team as the business expands. 

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver day to day design tasks requested from the business: responsive web design, customer journey design, e-commerce design
• Working with the Business Insights team to blend data into your decision making
• Designing layouts that guide, persuade and reassure users they are in the right place
• Create high-fidelity UI mock-ups that help show how you are solving a problem
• Create on brand high quality visually engaging outputs
• Help in the development of our design systems and evolve the Blackcircles brand across digital channels as well as other non-digital formats
• Being a pro with the Adobe Creative suite and Figma or equivalent tools
• On occasion supporting teams with campaign design

Key personal criteria:

• 2 years within a creative agency or in-house at a leading brand - must have significant commercial experience in design for retail e-commerce
• Proven experience of successfully delivering digital design, responsive website design and marketing campaigns.
• Have an eye on the craft and detail but don’t lose sight of the bigger picture
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing workflow and to prioritise when ad hoc tasks are requested
• A varied portfolio of great examples showing us you can take a problem to execution is expected no matter what format
• Ideally educated to degree level in a Design or related discipline but not a prerequisite
• Proactive mindset and to be on top of the latest industry trends and techniques to ensure we are at the forefront of production

Nice to have but not essential:

• Additional spoken language
• An interest in the automotive industry is advantageous.

• Annual salary £35k - £40k per annum (dependent on experience).
