About The RoleWe are currently seeking a Solar Construction Manager to oversee construction works – covering PV, grid, and peripheral works – completed on-time and in accordance with organisational HSE risk parameters.
Transparency of progress, plans and problems for project and UK management.
What You Will Do

• Create and maintain key construction management documents:
• Integrated construction programme
• Construction budget
• Construction risk register
• Coordinate all BayWa appointed parties involved in construction:
• Organise and chair monthly site meetings with all contractors, and communicate with landowners and other localstakeholders
• Provide inputs to monthly report for project sponsors (via PM)
• Identify need for, tender and manage construction advisors (HSE, Engineering/Technical QA, ECoW, etc)
• HSE
• Document overall HSE process / approach for the project, including sign-off by BayWa H&S Manager
• Ensure BayWa / BayWa H&S advisor and contractor audits carried out in line with defined approach, monitor implementation of recommendations
• Own BayWa response to any incidents including reporting to senior management

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of renewable energy project construction
• Significant experience of coordinating large groups of colleagues, contractors and advisors
• Strong experience of construction contract administration
