Then we would love you to join us as a Security Officer at Rocco Forte Hotels.As Security Officer you will ensure the safety of our guests and your fellow employees at all times throughout the hotel, as well as maintaining a professional and personable relationship with all of our guests. Your core duties will include monitoring surveillance cameras, ensuring that all guests and visitors – wherever possible – are escorted to their destinations and helping our Security Manger put security measures in place for the visits of VIP individuals and guests to the hotel and surrounding area. In addition, you will carry out security patrols, inside and at – ensuring no unauthorised access. You will also carry out general administration duties to support the department.Your success in the role will be defined by your ability to keep our guests and your colleagues safe in a manner appropriate for a five-star luxury property. In turn, you will be given the support to develop your own skills and career with us. Ultimately, your insight, commitment and pride in your work will make you an integral part of the Rocco Forte family.SIA Door Supervisor licence and First Aid at Work qualification is required and personal licence preferred with minimum 2 years experience working in a security role is essential.This role involves working evenings and weekends.The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh's most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins.
