We are seeking a personable and knowledgeable Budtender to join our team at Nexleaf Dispensary! We are passionate about cannabis and dedicated to sharing its benefits with our community. The Budtender will be responsible for assisting patients, providing product information, and ensuring a positive and educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome patients warmly.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide a friendly, personalized, and professional shopping experience.
2. Product Knowledge:
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all cannabis products, including their effects, benefits, and usage methods.
- Stay updated on the latest cannabis trends and new product releases.
- Educate patients about the different strains, edibles, concentrates, and other products available.
3. Compliance:
- Ensure all transactions are compliant with state and local regulations.
- Verify patient identification to ensure legal requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales and inventory.
4. Inventory Management:
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and updating inventory records.
- Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
5. Sales and Cash Handling:
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash and card payments securely and efficiently.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
6. Store Maintenance:
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Ensure displays and product signage are up-to-date and appealing.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail setting.
- Extensive knowledge of cannabis products and the cannabis industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve customer issues with patience and professionalism.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
