TITLE: Teacher – Secondary Physical Science QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in Physical Science or Chemistry or Physics or related Earth Sciences and a valid Arkansas Department of Education Educator’s License. One year experience teaching Physical Science subject. Full-time employment. REPORTS TO: Principal LOCATION: El Dorado High School, El Dorado, AR 71730 JOB GOAL: To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, social and psychological growth. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides high school students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Teaches Physical Science subject that may cover areas in Physics, Chemistry and the Earth Sciences. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of district’s curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
