Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of commercial accounts such as commercial auto, contractors, garage, inland marine, umbrella, etc.
- Answers all client policy and coverage questions
- Market and quote new business and renewals, obtaining competitive coverage/cost ratios for the client
- Identify, compile, and manage information regarding account renewals
- 3 years of insurance industry experience related to commercial underwriting
- Must have experience with Excess & Surplus lines and MGA knowledge
- Property and Casualty license
- CIC, CPCU, or other insurance designations are desirable
- Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management on risk management issues
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Make commute to an onsite office
