Amergis Healthcare Staffing is Hiring a School Behavior Aide Near Elizabethtown, NC
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a student in an EC self-contained classroom setting, adhering to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral plans.
- Implement behavioral strategies and interventions under the guidance of special education professionals.
- Assist the student in academic tasks, transitions, and social interactions throughout the school day.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment conducive to learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents regarding student progress and challenges.
- Certification in CPR is required.
- Willingness to undergo behavior management training provided by the school.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 4:00 pm.
