Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040) and related schedules
- Assist in the preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065)
- Analyze client financial information to identify tax-saving opportunities
- Communicate with clients to gather essential tax documentation and provide status updates
- Stay current with federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Support the team in various accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Completed a degree in Accounting
- Experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
