Transportation Coordinator 2 - Dispatch

Pay Range - $16.84 - $19.38

Location - Hancock

This position is our primary contact for all Driver calls coming into the Transportation Department. This position coordinates the most efficient means of transportation for clients.

Schedules and / or dispatches trips to volunteers and agency drivers. Inputs data in the computer.

• Become knowledgeable on all funding sources in transportation and the requirements of each one
• Must be able to communicate effectively internally and externally
• Must be effective with Multitasking and organizing
• Must be an effective member of the team
• Must Be knowledgeable of both Hancock & Washington County
• Serves as a resource for Agency & Volunteer drivers
• Ability to read maps
• Must have office experience
• Ability to comprehend rules and procedures
• Excellent verbal communication
• Proven attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR POSITION :

Experience and Skill Requirements : The following requirements and skills are considered essential :

3-5 years experience as a Dispatcher or a related function.

Education / Skill Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent in skills and experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• FTA Drug and Alcohol Program Participant. Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol checks.
