Title: Technical Business Analyst
Position Type: Hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days remote)
Location: East Elmhurst, NY 11370
Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
Hours: 35 hours/week
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis with a focus on technical projects. The Technical BA will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions using Agile methodology and business process mapping tools.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Utilize Agile methodology to manage and execute projects effectively.
  • Develop and maintain business process maps and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and document business requirements.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Agile methodology.
  • Experience with business process mapping tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in documentation and business process modeling.
