How You’ll Succeed
  • You are ready to be part of a patient centered, team-based environment
  • Complete comprehensive full mouth exams and diagnose dental conditions
  • Assess treatment planning options and discuss with patient
  • Carry out agreed clinical treatments
  • Assist in recruitment, training and management of dental clinic staff
  • Keep abreast of new developments in dentistry through structured continuing professional developments
  • Maintain affiliations with professional groups, dental associations and dental societies

Qualifications
  • Must be currently registered as a NYS Dentist. All continuing education requirements must be currently fulfilled
  • Must have current DEA registration to prescribe Class II-IV drugs. Ability to safely administer conscious sedation is preferred
  • Prefer at least one year experience as a dentist. Experience working with developmentally disabled consumers preferred
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with personnel, patients and community partners
