MDS Assistant

Position Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to manage the MDS function and processes to maximize clinical outcomes, promote resident safety, and ensure timely, accurate and complete clinical and support documentation to enable the facility to be fully reimbursed by government payer sources for all services provided, by accomplishing the specific business goals.

Qualifications:

• Must posses a current, active California license as an LVN or RN
• Preferred two years experience in Long-Term Care
• Preferred at least two years experience in MDS

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the completion of assessments per the OBRA schedule.
• Coordinates and ensures the IDT completion of CAA's
• Conducts CAA's analysis to determine which problems require consideration for developing care plan interventions.
