Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our team in Greenwood VIllage, CO. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, particularly in payroll management, journal entries, and financial statement analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP Total Source or WorkForce for payroll processing and possess a basic understanding of debit, credit, and journal entry principles. While a degree is not mandatory, familiarity with financial statements and balance sheets is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll using ADP Total Source or WorkForce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Handle commissioned payroll and multi-state payroll responsibilities.
- Execute debit, credit, and journal entries as necessary, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and balance sheets, providing support for financial analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform other accounting tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with ADP Total Source or WorkForce for payroll processing.
- Knowledge of commissioned payroll and multi-state payroll procedures.
- Basic understanding of debit, credit, and journal entry principles.
- Familiarity with financial statements and balance sheets preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Degree in Accounting or related field is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule: 5 days onsite, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
