Our clients are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their team in Englewood, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. This role requires advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to transform accounting data into insightful financial plans and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, financial planning, and decision-making processes.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including coordinating with various departments, consolidating inputs, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare and update financial forecasts, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Manipulate and analyze large sets of accounting data to create comprehensive financial reports and budgets.
• Generate and present regular financial reports, including variance analyses, trend analyses, and scenario planning.
• Work closely with accounting, finance, and operational teams to gather necessary data and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
