The Job

Own is seeking an HRIS Analyst to play a key role in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Workday HRIS system. As a Workday HRIS Analyst, you'll collaborate with HR stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal functionality and performance of the Workday system. This is the ideal role for anyone with foundational knowledge of Workday who actively seeks opportunities to learn while collaborating with others to deliver system-based solutions to business challenges.

Some baseline knowledge of Workday (or equivalent HR system experience) is required for this role, however, we value a self-starting candidate with a willingness to learn from internal and external subject matter experts. Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Act as primary liaison to Own's AMS partner TopBloc for day to day collaboration
  • Help maintain and establish new Workday system integrations
  • Collaborate with People teams to identify and implement business process improvements
  • Participate in Workday release readiness preparation by reviewing and testing system changes
  • Develop and maintain system and process documentation, including process flows, data maps, and requirements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Own team members on Workday functionality and processes
  • Support the analytics team with dashboard and reporting based initiatives

Your Work Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience with Workday and/or other system experience, either in an HRIS capacity or operations role where Workday was the primary system for HR
  • Experience delivering HR transformative programs through Workday functionality
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and benefits
  • Experience with Workday reporting
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
