Requirements
- Open and close jobs in a timely manner and provide relevant costing information. Analyze completed jobs for efficiency and profitability.
- Preparing financial statements, including journal entries, and ensuring they meet industry standards, management requirements, and accounting principles.
- Verify standard costs for Material to last purchased cost and roll up costs, as necessary.
- Participate in the annual audit and coordinating internal reviews and external audit as well as the 401(k) audit.
- Coordinate year-end physical inventory counts, system adjustments needed, and year-end costing of inventory on hand.
- Assist with budgeting and developing financial reporting and planning systems.
- Track fixed asset additions and dispositions and prepare monthly depreciation journal entries.
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
- Reconcile long term debt balances to general ledger and update long term debt schedule.
- Provide additional assistance with the accounting functions such as managing cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll as needed.
- Hiring, teaching and developing staff, and training them in Company procedures.
