Responsibilities:
- Conduct costing and pricing analysis and variance reporting.
- Analyze actual, standard, and quoted costs for labor and materials.
- Investigate variances for sales orders, purchase orders, and work orders against quoted costs and standards.
- Analyze expenses and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Provide clear, understandable reports and metrics to managers and teams.
- Advise managers on improving profit margins and cost efficiency based on data and analysis.
- Review, interpret, analyze, and communicate important financial information to the President and leadership team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing accounting and finance as it relates to COGS, BOMs, variance analysis, budget vs actual, etc.
- Proficiency in advanced functions in Excel and Pivot Tables.
Preferred:
- Experience accessing complex data from SQL and Access databases.
Salary, Benefits, & Perks:
- $65,000 - $85,000 discretionary annual profit sharing
