Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our boutique's team. The ideal candidate will be fashionable and have experience in retail sales, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a customer-focused environment that is fashion forward. Knowledge of jewelry and gemstones a bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding jewelry and accessories
- Operate cash registers, POS system and handle cash transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock merchandise and monitor inventory levels
- Provide knowledge of jewelry and recommendations to customers
- Upsell additional products to increase sales
- Process exchanges efficiently
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales
- Proficiency in English language for effective communication with customers
- Strong cash handling skills and experience with POS systems
- Familiarity with gemstones a plus
- Ability to upsell products to enhance customer experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers
