Director of Education For Engaging, Innovative, and FUN Kids STEM Center!
Would you like to teach kids in an exciting and innovative environment? Are you passionate about STEM, Coding, and Robotics? Do you have Teaching Experience?
Code Ninjas is currently hiring a new director of education for our center in Tega Cay. Hours are focused on Monday-Thursday from 2-7 pm and Saturdays from 9-3; however, your schedule will also include special events based on our yearly calendar.
We will train the perfect candidate, but experience in coding/STEM/video games is a huge plus!
We are looking for an educator who is highly engaging and dynamic with excellent classroom management skills and wants a position where they can share their passion and excitement about the fields of STEM & Coding.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Engaging students, answering questions, and assisting with problem-solving
Creating a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
Leading group lessons, activities, and classes
Communicating with parents about progress and achievements
Collaborating with hands-on owners to enhance the program
Supporting younger staff and training as necessary
Developing curriculum in STEM and coding
Qualifications required:
Experience teaching groups of K-8 students
Availability for hours stated above
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of coding, robotics, and gaming!
