We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized deli area. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to customer preferences
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register
- Monitor inventory levels and restock deli products as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for retail calculations
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
