We are seeking an experienced, full-time Construction Inspector to oversee and perform inspections of construction projects at Travis AFB near Fairfield, California.
The Construction Inspector works across a broad range of disciplines to include civil, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Working at this location is a requirement for the job. Responsibilities include : Performing Title II construction inspection and oversight.
Providing design review and suggestions for correcting errors. Reviewing material, equipment, and commissioning submittals.
Supporting construction contractor Requests-For-Information. Notifying the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR of critical issues that may affect the contract performance and / or human health and the environment.
Following company safety standards and site safety standards. Understanding and adhering to company policies. Providing photographs and maintaining daily log of construction activities.
Performing most assignments independently, but consulting with others and receiving technical guidance on unusual or complex problems.
