Chief Operations Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced operations manager to provide leadership as COO for the assembly, testing, and service of their high-end analytical instrumentation. They are seeking a growth and innovation focused candidate to support the scale-up of their operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee company operations (supply chain, inventory, expense, and service management) and develop and implement operational strategies as needed
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and department heads to strategize, develop opportunities, and address challenges
• Provide leadership by building and maintain relationships with external clients and supply chain vendors and by directly mentoring employees

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or scientific field (Master’s is a plus!)
• Proven success in a COO, senior operations management, or other executive leadership role, preferably with a small to medium sized company undergoing rapid growth
• Experience with inventory management and expense reporting software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
