TREW LLC is Hiring a Quality Engineer Near Fairfield, OH
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes for manufacturing, assembly and installations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
- Ensure all processes are documented and compliant with industry regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to assess and verify adherence to quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality methodologies to enhance processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with quality standards.
- Work with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues.
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on key quality metrics to management.
- Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to analyze data.
- Provide training to employees on quality processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to quality standards.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
- 10-20% travel to suppliers and Trew locations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
