We are a privately owned, 5-Star SUTQ child care center serving the families of Fairfield and surrounding communities for over 50 years. As an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for:

* Assisting the director in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the center

* Assist with a variety of administrative tasks

* Available to work in any role based on the needs of the center, including teacher, cook, or driver

* Cultivate positive, productive, and professional relationships with parents and staff

* In the absence of the director, the Assistant Director has the sole responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the center.

Minimum Qualifications Include:

* CPL3 of higher

* Prefer Associate degree in ECE or related field; or CDA

* Two years as lead teacher in a licensed center

* Prior experience as an Assistant Director preferred

* Familiarity of SUTQ and ODJFS licensing

* Must maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
