Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance (Interim clearance will not suffice)
Job Description: The Alternate Project Manager (APM) is responsible for managing and administering a multi-discipline workforce performing Base Operations Support (BOS), which includes custodial services, dining facilities operations, transportation, and logistics associated with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Manager and provide decision-making authority in their absence.
- Oversee daily operations of all PWS areas, including food services.
- Manage all facets of contract compliance, quality assurance, and customer service standards.
- Develop and enforce safety standards, prepare documentation, and manage government vehicles as required.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of specialized industry experience in administrative or managerial activities related to Government industrial operations.
- Designated Food Service Manager certification with 5 years of experience specific to the Army Food Service Program. (Experience from other military branches is not acceptable.)
- Knowledge of Military regulations (Tri-Service Food Code/TB Med 530).
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to start as early as 5:30 am, Monday through Friday.
- Must pass the Food Service Medical Clearance and be capable of completing ServSafe certification.
- Must be flexible with shifts and on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
