**Job Description:**

As a Part-Time Medical Assistant at Basso Foot and Ankle Clinics, you will play a

crucial role in assisting our medical team in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

**Responsibilities:**

- Obtain patient histories and prepare patients for examination.

- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient

information.

- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.

- Assist with office administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing

patient records, and answering phone calls.

- Marketing to potential referral sources.

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical supplies.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures specific to podiatry

practice.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a podiatry or healthcare setting preferred but not required.

- Knowledge of basic podiatric terminology and procedures is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-

centered approach.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic medical records systems.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
