Overview:
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical billing and coding, insurance pre-authorization, medical scheduling, possess strong administrative skills, and be familiar with various phone systems and medical software.

Responsibilities:

- Work with patients and clinic staff to obtain health insurance verification and pre-authorization information
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients efficiently using a retail approach
- Manage phone calls and inquiries related to scheduling
- Utilize medical software such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft for appointment booking
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize appointment scheduling

-Ability to interact with patients with a smile and integrity

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred

-Experience using medical billing codes and working with insurance carriers for pre-authorizations
- Proficiency in using various phone systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
