GCP ArchitectFarmington, CT(Onsite)
Role and Responsibilities:
· Designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure GCP-based solutions to meet clients' business requirements.
· Advising clients on the best practices and efficient use of GCP services and features
· Building and maintaining GCP infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components
· Automating deployment and management of GCP resources using tools like Terraform and Ansible
· Monitoring and fix GCP infrastructure, applications, and services.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions that leverage GCP services.
· Staying up to date with GCP offerings and new features, and recommending improvements to existing solutions
· Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements
· Developing and maintaining documentation related to GCP architecture, configurations, and processes.
Qualifications and experience required:
· Enterprise Architect: 7 – 10 year
· Google cloud Migration: 6 – 8 year
· Cloud Architect: 6 – 8 year
· Knowledge and experience in Google Cloud Platform involving compute, storage, network, and database solutions.
· Strong analytical skills in understanding the business and technical requirement and propose appropriate GCP solution to meet those requirements.
· Experience in creating technical design and architecture documents, work with review board for design and solution approval for implementation.
· Strong knowledge, design, and implementation experience in Google Kubernetes Engine to host containerized workloads at scale and with high availability for production apps.
· Experience in GKE cluster sizing, network configurations and security controls for resilient and secure container runtime environment
· Ability to create and customize Kubernetes manifests for creating deployments, services, and ingress objects.
· Experience in Microservices deployments using Istio or any other service mesh.
· Knowledge and experience in designing CICD pipelines using GCP DevOps solutions and 3rd party tools viz. Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, travis CI etc.,
· Knowledge in Cloud Operations suite, and hands on experience in implementing Cloud Monitoring, Logging to ensure site reliability and performance of hosted applications.
· Experience in implementing Cloud IAM with principle of least privilege, security hardening of cloud infrastructure in line with CIS, NIST standards.
· Experience in provisioning of GCP infrastructure with Infrastructure as a Code approach preferably using Terraform.
· Implementation experience in GCP managed database and storage solutions such as Cloud SQL, Fire store, cloud storage
