Lending Support Specialist (Full-Time) Farmington Branch
LOC Credit Union, a full-service financial institution, is looking for a full-time Lending Support Specialist at our Farmington office. The ideal candidate will serve an important role in helping the Lending team through our "Let's Win. Together." principle!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Review funded loans regularly to ensure accuracy, identity verification and lien perfection. Consumer and home equity loan lists are uploaded weekly and completed mortgages should be reviewed monthly. Loan audit exceptions will be communicated to the Chief Lending Officer, Director of Consumer Lending Support and Consumer Lending Underwriting Specialist. May assist with exception resolutions as needed.
• Review and process Subordination requests as they are received. This requires review of the mortgage documents received and the current LOC home equity agreement. The Subordination Agreement will need to be sent to the appropriate county for recording.
• Home Equity Pay-Off Requests and Discharges involve preparing a pay-off letter when requested and discharging the mortgage document for paid off home equity loans. Mortgage Discharges will be mailed to the appropriate county for recording.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must have a minimum 2 years of current experience in Consumer Lending Servicing.
• Well-developed member service, communication skills, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Significant level of trust and diplomacy; in addition to normal courtesy and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates, understands, and applies CU policies, procedures and knowledge of LOC products and services.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, fax, telephones.

Experience/education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College course work a plus
• Two years of similar or related experience; loan knowledge/experience (including home equity) required.
