As an Inventory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse or stockroom.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming inventory.
• Accurately record inventory levels and update databases or spreadsheets.
• Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Label and tag items as needed, ensuring proper storage and easy identification.
• Assist in preparing and packing orders for shipment.
• Work closely with the Inventory Manager to identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if required).
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill inventory needs.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
