Position Description:
Communications & Outreach Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Marketing
FT, PT, PRN: Full-time
Shift: Days - 40 hours; Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM with some weekends as needed
Location: Hendersonville, NC (in office)
Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000 annually
Summary
Four Seasons is seeking a candidate with prior outreach experience. The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator will support the marketing department with internal and external communications, branding and promotions support, story collection, social media support, and event and outreach coordination. While this is a marketing position and graphic design and social media support is required, the person in this role will be responsible for organizing events, seminars, and speaking engagements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Providing support for branding, forms coordination, business card orders, signage, and other projects.
  • Supporting coordination of the internal Flash Sale including scheduling, emails, order coordination, deliveries and responding to needs post-sale.
  • Coordinating printing projects with our vendor, and coordinating the distribution of brochures and materials throughout our service area.
  • Coordinating storytelling projects and gathering/writing testimonials from families and also our FS team.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings and events, including but not limited to seminars, table events, parades, some staff events, focus groups, and support with foundation events. This would also involve scheduling or coordinating participants, arranging for meals or food, booking venues, and ensuring materials and/or presentations are available.
  • Cultivating relationships with area libraries, senior centers, nursing communities, etc. so that we have venues and connections for our events/seminars.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts.
  • Assisting the Marketing Specialist with developing, writing, and deploying press releases, and cultivating relationships with local media.
  • Attending some meetings with Foundation and collaborating with/assisting other departments including but not limited to Employee Solutions, Growth Team, Volunteer Solutions, Vibrant4Life, and the Foundation.
  • Writing blog posts, social media posts and other outreach communications.
  • Creating emails, and SharePoint news items.
  • Creating and coordinating PowerPoints for presentations (or provide support and research for these projects)
  • Supporting and coordinating events for Veterans, Riversong Pediatric Program, and other special programs.
  • Assisting with internal communications to support the Admin and other departments.
  • Providing support at Foundation events and with some Foundation outreach and communications.
  • Providing support for Home Store events and outreach coordination.
  • Upholding the brand standards of Four Seasons, The Care You Trust, and the Four Seasons Foundation.
  • Upholding HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Representing Four Seasons, The Care You Trust, and Four Seasons Foundation with the utmost professionalism and regard for our mission, vision, and values.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Some graphic design skills (Canva or Photoshop, or ability to learn programs quickly)
  • Some social media skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, and change directions when needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Prefer Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in administration, communications or business-related field preferred or equivalent of administrative experience.
Experience:
  • Two years in communications-related field preferred.
Licensures & Certifications: (if applicable)
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift boxes of 20-30lbs (brochures, etc).
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time; more than four hours per day.
  • Ability to transport self to the office and other locations.
  • Ability to climb stairs as our office has some limited stairs.
