We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to provide support in our plastics department, specifically focusing on injection molding and Tool/Die processes. Reporting directly to the Engineering Staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring New Model mass production readiness and maintaining and improving the overall sub-equipment/ programming related issues. This involves daily and monthly reporting, operation standard accuracy, and committing to achieving goals within guidelines while keeping the future in mind. Key responsibilities include supporting accident/safety counter measure activity, investigating and implementing countermeasures for complex issues, setting up training for associates on molding machines, and planning and validating equipment due to new model specifications. The role also involves designing and building robots, countermeasuring reoccurring problems, working with the New Model team, and generating technical reports.
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
This is a fully on-site position in Timmonsville, South Carolina.
The successful candidate will be working in an OEM Assembly Manufacturing environment, specifically within the Power Sports Division.
