Job Summary
We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team! Halo Specialized Home Care is a licensed, Non-Medical Home Care agency serving the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding areas.
We specialize in providing the highest quality of care by the most respected and qualified caregivers in our industry.
In this role, you will make a difference in the life of a 75-year-old gentleman by enhancing his quality of life! Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, diaper changes, repositioning, hoyer lift, range of motion, light housekeeping, cooking and other tasks.
The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, experienced, and reliable.
The schedule for the following position is : Monday - Thursday 7a-3p and Friday 7a-7p
Location : Pebble Beach
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs, bed baths, diaper changes, etc.
- Assist with range of motion, repositioning
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication Reminders
- Provide companionship
- Transfer to wheelchair with hoyer lift
- Make an occupied bed
- Care for skin breakdown
- Provide support for family members
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role
- Experience with hopice
- Experience with hoyer lift
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
