LaPenna Law is a boutique law firm that specializes in personal injury litigation. We are looking for a legal assistant to join our growing practice.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Preparation of summons and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery motions, discovery demands/responses, trial documents, subpoenas, and routine correspondence.
• Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and trial exhibits
• Review and analyze discovery responses, medical records, police reports, and insurance policies.
• Maintaining constant client communication

Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and be familiar with Microsoft Word and other basic computer programs, including NYSCEF.

Ideal candidates will possess good communication and organizational skills, be hard working, self-motivated, and autonomous.

This is an in-person position.

Salary will commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
