MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
One (1) year direct work experience in an emergency department or as an Emergency
Medical Technician I or Emergency Medical Technician or military medic setting.
Education:
Completion of an approved medical assistant training program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or
Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Training program or
The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHS), or by any other accrediting
agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or
Completion of medical service training program of the Armed Forces of the United States.

Current and Valid Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate Certification or
Current and Valid Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Certification or
Current and Valid Paramedic Certification
Certificate:
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and maintain certification.
