Type : Non-Exempt

Work Schedule : Full Time, Day Shift

Compensation : $17.53 - $17.53 / hour

Skookum is seeking a consistent and positive Laborer with a professional attitude.

Clean exterior of vehicles, including windows and wheel wells, using water and cleansing compounds. Use water sprayer in safe and conserving manner.

Polish vehicle if needed.

Vacuum interior of vehicles and remove trash.

Wipe down dashboard and other plastic surfaces using chamois or cloth.

Notify Supervisor of any damage seen on vehicles and if supplies are running low.

Maintain a clean and tidy work area throughout the entire shop.

Sweeping and emptying trash in shop.

Driving a company vehicle to pick up parts off base.

Picking up and delivery parts, equipment, and vehicles between GSA, Grounds, and TFM.

Cleaning bathrooms.

Load and unload shop supplies.

All other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications :

6 Months experience as Laborer preferred

Physical Requirements :

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.

The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

Must be able to lift and / or move up to 20 pounds.

May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements :

A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance.

Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
