Duties:
- Modify existing drawings with occassional new product design.
- Prepare production information (i.e. drawings and solid models that provide the necessary information for programming, tooling, machining and assembly operations).
- Provide detailed drawings for use in purchasing outsourced product.
- Maintain a library of standard designs, drawings and specifications.
- Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Interface with engineers to give feedback from Production that will enhance future designs.
- Improve how the Production Drafting work is done to eliminate waste and improve the quality of the documentation.
- 1-3 years experience in Solidworks software.
- Proficiency in Solidworks 3D modeling & 2D drawing required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Adobe.
- Effective and clear communications skills. Ability to communicate in a gracious and professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
