Under the direction of the Safety Coordinator this position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees & guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
● Patrol the campus and respond with appropriate action in the event of fire, emergency weather conditions, or crimes against persons or property
● Remains alert for signs of disorder or tension
● Patrols assigned areas at various intervals for security of buildings and grounds
● Follows or ensures compliance with established security procedures
● Report violations of laws, policies, and safety and security hazards to the EHS Coordinator- Training & Security
● Conduct incident investigations, and complete the required reports
● Provide information to campus visitors upon request
● Monitor campus parking areas and roadways, and enforce traffic/parking regulations by issuing tickets, and/or towing vehicles
● Provide traffic direction as needed
● Assist employees with jump starts, and/or referrals to locksmiths or tow services when requested
● Additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

Schedule: Mon – Fri 5:30a-3:30p with an hour unpaid lunch
Compensation: $16.50-$18.70 per hour plus competitive benefits package
