Typical Duties:
- Performs tumor localization procedures creating shells and molds, etc.
- Performs daily linear accelerator warm-up procedures.
- Checks photon beam and all electron beams for consistency. Checks physics components for accuracy of beam alignment.
- Delivers accurately the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy. Observes Patients for unusual reactions and events.
- Prepares Radiation Oncology treatment blocks and molds to for patient treatment.
- Transfers patients from wheelchairs and gurneys to linac/CT simulator couches.
- Participates in the PI process.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
